On October 2nd, 2020, Ellen Woodsworth and other Wipfers demonstrated outside Defense Minister Harjit Sajjin’s office, as part of a Pan-Canadian Day of Action. Ellen read a letter to Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan in front of his (empty) constituency office in Vancouver Friday noon, protesting Canada’s federal government plans to purchase 88 fighter jets at a cost of $19 billion:

Everyone is welcome to participate and if you are interested in joining, the branch membership dues are $50/year regular or $10/year student and low income.
