Dan is a defense expert and a leading critic of the F-35 program in the US. He has written extensively about problems in U.S. military procurement and with the F-35 fighter jet. He has appeared before congressional hearings to discuss concerns related to defense contracting especially with Lockheed Martin’s new stealth fighter fleet. He will discuss the history of the F-35 program, the prime contractor Lockheed Martin and how the problems we are currently dealing with were embedded at the program’ inception. He will give an update on the program and raise concerns Canadians should consider in their decision about buying the F-35.
