Priyanka D’souza is a recent immigrant to Canada and the Treasurer at WILPF Canada. With her University education and work experience in Accounting and Children’s Book Illustration, she hopes to contribute towards making the world a better place. She actively participates in campaigns pertaining to Environment Protection and Conservation. The increased militarism, impacting the lives of innocent civilians, including children is a pressing issue and calls for urgent attention. She believes that all the settlers in Canada must work closely with the Indigenous people for Reconciliation, which is an important aspect of Decolonization. The Peace Caravan is our effort to connect with people across Canada and to take their concerns together with our demands to our political leaders in Ottawa .She looks forward to being there at the Peace Rally on Parliament Hill with representatives from the Indigenous community, the Youth and her Sisters from WILPF Canada.
