On 28 April 2025, WILPF turns 110. As the world’s oldest feminist peace organization, our strenght lies in our global, diverse, membership—and in a century-long commitment to feminist peace through struggle, resistance and change.
This is a moment to reflect on what we’ve built, and why our work matters more than ever.
WILPF exsists because peace and freedom remain out of reach for many. Systems of militarism, capitalism, racism and colonialism continue to harm our societies, communities and homes.
Our legacy isn’t just behind us—it lives on in new generations carrying the movement forward. From 1915 to today, WILPF’s work has evolved through new voices, new lessons, and new challengs.
Our yearlong campaign “110 Years WILPF: Then and Now” reminds us that feminist peace is not just a moment—it’s a move ment that has endured for 110 years. It’s a time to honour our legacy, confront today’s challenges and shape a future grounded in justice, equality, and feminist peace.
