WILPF-Canada condemns the illegal U.S. air strikes against Venezuela and the kidnapping of President Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores. In the press conference on Saturday, President Trump admitted that the U.S. wants to “run Venezuela” and “take over” its vast oil reserves. We stand in solidarity with the Venezuelan people and we are participating in “No War in Venezuela” rallies across the country with the Canada-Wide Peace & Justice Network.
