In solidarity with the Canada Network on Cuba and the National Day of Action for Cuba on February 21, 2026, WILPF-Canada has partnered with the Canadian Voice of Women for Peace in sending a letter to Prime Minister Mark Carney and Minister of Foreign Affairs Anita Anand to call on them to urgently send fuel and supplies to Cuba. We are also participating in rallies across the country. We denounce the Trump administration’s cruel and illegal blockade against Cuba. Canada is a friend of Cuba and should provide aid to the island as soon as possible and condemn the U.S.’s sanctions and siege.
