Co-chairs Patsy and Ellen participated in the rally for Cuba in Vancouver. The rally was led by the Friends of Cuba Against the US Blockade – Vancouver. This action was part of the National Day of Action for Cuba to call on the Canadian government to provide urgent aid to Cuba and to call for the U.S. to end its illegal, cruel blockade. The Day of Action was organized by the Canada Network on Cuba.
WILPF Canada and the Canadian Voice of Women for Peace also sent a letter to the Prime Minister and leaders of the all the political parties to appeal to them to send fuel and supplies to Cuba. Read the letter here.
