Our member Tamara Lorincz was on stage with filmmaker Abby Martin at the two screenings of her new documentary “Earth’s Greatest Enemy” in Toronto on Friday, January 23. The film is about the climate and environmental impacts of the U.S. war machine. Tamara discussed WILPF-Canada work on the Canadian military’s carbon bootprint and NATO’s threat to people and the planet. She also set a table outside the theatre to present WILPF Canada’s material and brought our banners to take photos with Abby and the audience. Learn more about the film and the tour here.
