Co-chair Ellen Woodsworth and member Tamara Lorincz co-authored the chapter “Canada’s Rising Military Spending Undermines Women, Peace and Security” in the latest annual publication “WPS at 25 and Canada’s CNAP3: Feminist Reflections on Progress and Gaps.” Tamara also wrote the chapter “Canada’s Indo-Pacific Strategy militarizes Asia and undermines Women, Peace and Security.” The publication was released to mark the 25th Anniversary of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace & Security and Canada’s Third National Action Plan. Ellen and Tamara also participated in the webinar to launch the publication. The publication and webinar were organized by the Women, Peace & Security Network-Canada (WPSN-Canada). We are members of the WPSN-Canada.
