Please sign & share our open letter #1000Women+ to Prime Minister Carney and the Minister of Women & Gender Equality Valdez, to cut military spending and invest in a green, peace care economy. The federal government is boosting the defence budget but reducing funding to essential federal service and programs for women, Indigenous and 2SLGBTQIA+people. We don’t want Canada to increase military spending for war and more weapons. We need money for housing, health care, education & public transit.
