WILPF-Canada members participated in the rallies and protests against the Canada’s Global Defence and Security Trade Show (CANSEC) on May 27 and 28, 2026 in Ottawa. CANSEC is the largest weapons fair in North America. We also participated in the “Military-Industrial Complex” bus tour in Ottawa. We oppose the federal government’s plan to ramp up weapons production and double arms exports. We believe Canada should export peace not weapons.
